About

I started the MSc in eLearning in September 2009, and this is my third course on the programme.

I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA(Mod)Hons in Natural Science, specialising in zoology, and I also have a Masters in Applied Environmental Science from University College Dublin. I gained my experience developing online content as a scientific editor and working as an e-learning developer in further education, and this led to my current post, when I joined the University of Edinburgh in 2007.

I currently work at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, and teach on the Professional Studies programme for 1st, 2nd and graduate entry vet students and on the Intro to Companion Animal Behaviour online professional development course. I am also Programme Coordinator for the online MSc/Dip/Cert in Equine Science, with new programmes in the pipeline for development :)

I love gardening, reading, writing and doing all kinds of stitchery – and a long-term goal is to perfect the arts of weaving :)
